The WordPress.org edition does not contain locked premium code.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Third Party Libraries<\/h3>\n\n<p>The plugin includes a local QR code JavaScript library based on Kazuhiko Arase's QRCode Generator under the MIT License. License and copyright notices are included in THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt and in the library files.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Install the plugin ZIP through Plugins &gt; Add Plugin &gt; Upload Plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Open Settings &gt; Permalinks and click Save Changes once.<\/li>\n<li>Open MDH Dynamic QR &gt; New QR Code and enter a title, slug, and destination URL.<\/li>\n<li>Save the QR code, test it with a smartphone, and then export it as PNG\/SVG or use the print view.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20change%20the%20destination%20url%20later%3F\"><h3>Can I change the destination URL later?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. That is the purpose of the dynamic short URL. As long as the slug remains unchanged, the printed QR code does not need to be replaced.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20free%20edition%20require%20a%20license%20key%3F\"><h3>Does the free edition require a license key?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The free edition can be used permanently without a license key.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20many%20qr%20codes%20can%20i%20create%3F\"><h3>How many QR codes can I create?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The WordPress.org edition does not limit the number of dynamic URL QR codes.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"are%20full%20ip%20addresses%20stored%3F\"><h3>Are full IP addresses stored?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The simple scan counter does not store full IP addresses and does not use tracking cookies.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"will%20my%20data%20remain%20available%20after%20a%20later%20upgrade%3F\"><h3>Will my data remain available after a later upgrade?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The free edition uses compatible tables for URL QR codes and scan data.
